      Tuesday, May 18, 1993

      Redlands - Donald A. Crane, 73, died of respiratory failure Thursday, May 13, in Redlands. He was a native of Redlands and lived in Redlands and San Bernardino most all of his life.

      He worked for the Department of Defense for 25 years, including 15 years in Washington DC, and was a member of the Justice-Columbia Masonic Lodge No. 3.

      Suvivors include two sons; Stephen Crane of Redlands and Roger Crane of Mission Viejo; a daughter, Marty Sievers of Lake Arrowhead; a brother, Vern Crane of Redlands; a sister, Barbara Mann of Sonoma, CA; and 7 grandchildren.

      Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area No 4. Emmerson-Bartlett Redlands Chapel is handling the arrangements
